The rise of modern Paganism has sometimes been called “the Triumph of the Moon”, no doubt because of our path’s great love of this nocturnal light source by which so many of us once had to have our secret gatherings. These days the notion is possibly due more to the poetic love of its soft light and its power to move the great oceans and create the tides, but no matter the reason, many and more Pagans give reverence to the moon. How could we do any less?
