Introduction — January 2023

Welcome to the January 2023 issue of ev0ke: witchcraft*paganism*lifestyle! We have so many goodies for you this month, with an entire issue dedicated to the Tarot!

Rebecca Buchanan continues her Faith and Fairy Tales feature with suggestions for Pagan/polytheist versions of Cinderella, while Sheldon Slinkard opens his new Intuition 101 series. Finally, Ashley Nicole Hunter steps up with her new monthly series on the Tarot, The Fool’s Journey. In Essays, guest Mark NeCamp writes about “Embodying Tarot” in trance and meditation. In Fiction, Rebecca Buchanan serves up the space fantasy “The Five of the Queen,” while Ashley Nicole Hunter has the first in a new series of reader-inspired stories, “A Story That Repeats Itself.” In Lifestyle, Ashley Nicole Hunter has a special treat for our loyal readers: a printable ev0ke Planner for 2023!
