Have you been watching the anti-trans laws coming out of Florida with increasing rage and fear? You’re not alone. It feels like the whole nation (the world, even) has been watching as the state has banned gender-affirming healthcare, discussing pro-LGBTQ+ topics or people at schools, and even trying to inspect the genitals of students before it would let them participate in sports.
Gamers, it’s time to stand up. Maybe you’ve seen gamers on Twitch or YouTube who have streamed for charity events. Over on Itch.io, a group of creators have banded together in a similar drive to stop the spread of hate.
From the bundle’s page itself: “In response, we’ve brought together all of these games as part of the TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Florida bundle, a sequel to last year’s TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas!
Just like the Texas bundle, we’ve chosen two charities that work directly with trans folx on the ground in Florida, to get the most direct aid to those who need it most. Our charity partners are: Zebra Youth and Transinclusive Group.
Zebra Youth is a network of organizations that provide services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and all youth (LGBTQ+) ages 13 – 24. The Youth assists young people facing homelessness, bullying, isolation from their families, and physical, sexual, and drug abuse with individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.
Founded in 2017, Transinclusive Group is a transgender-led, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates to protect and defend equality for all transgender and LGBTQ+ individuals in South Florida by building trust and relationships with community providers to end discrimination, stigma, and racial disparities to address social determinants of health. As an advocacy-driven organization with a concentrated focus on serving transgender people of color, Transinclusive Group works to ensure that everyone has equitable access to essential services, support, and resources. From emergency crisis assistance to peer support groups, TIG provides a wide spectrum of innovative community support systems.”
There are over 500 games available in this bundle for as little as $5! Included among these are Midnight’s Kiss (read about how it helped us with magic here) and the games Village Necromancer and Phantoms by SmallTownCreepy (one of our contributors).

We reached out to SmallTownCreepy to ask how they learned about the project and why they got involved. She said,
“I heard about the TTRPG Bundle for Trans Rights in Florida on Twitter via some fellow game designer mutuals. I have supported a number of bundles in the past including TTRPGs for Trans Rights in Texas and since then, wanted my games to be part of something that can help benefit a charity group that was close to my heart. As soon as I saw Rue (@IlanaNight13) announce they were putting this bundle together, I put in my request to have my games be part of it.
As a queer nonbinary person, it is important to me to be part of movements to ensure that everyone is able to live freely and be respected as a human. Reading about what is going on in Florida, especially with trans kids and their families is horrifying. I live in Tennessee and unfortunately, my state is filled with the same bigotry and horrific mindsets.
Offering my stories and games, donating, sharing the bundle and other charities and organizations, etc, to help fight against that bigotry and hate is the very least I can do.”
Not only have numerous small creators donated their games to this bundle, but big companies are pitching in, too!
Chaosium Inc will give anyone who donates at any price point a copy of Alone Against the Dark, which is a solo ruleset for the famous Call of Cthulhu game!
Donate $10 or more and the good people of Action Fiction will send you the 100% queer-led, and queer-designed 5e supplement “Monsters of Murka: Chromatic Gamut.”
Transinclusive Group is a recipient of this year’s Florida AIDS Walk, which means AIDS Walk will match donations to this bundle up to $500,000!
There are just over twenty days left to get your donation in and the project has already reached over $120,000 of its $250,000 goal. To pitch in and claim your rewards, head over to the site.

Your trans siblings need you, and with the help of others, you can help them.
