Tell us that you’ve never had to live paycheck to paycheck without saying that exactly. DawningWisdom has found a way, and it includes shaming anyone who can’t meet her standard of living.

For those who may be visually impaired and cannot read the captured tweet, here is a transcript:DawningWisdom: “I still don’t understand. How can some people be so poor that they can’t afford a certificate in astrology?! Not even with Zip Pay or Afterpay?! Or just a credit card with a $1000 limit? That’s all my cert cost me. How can they say that’s oppressive?!

If you started learning to ride a bike and you got better and better at riding that bike, and say people even started buying tickets to see you ride that bike, wouldn’t you then want to reinvest the money you earned into a better bike?

Still I can’t imagine how poor is ‘I can’t afford an astrology certificate I have to be self-taught’ poor…really?! I just don’t understand how these people are living! Do we need to inform Amnesty International or UNICEF?! I don’t understand!”

For those who may not be aware, the world is still in the grips of a pandemic that has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives and seen innumerable others become jobless, lose their homes, bury their loved ones, and certainly max out whatever high-limit credit cards they may have had previously. Getting an online certificate from a would-be Hogwarts at apartment-rent prices has probably been low on the list of priorities for many of us.

It’s unclear which esteemed governing body of astrologists DawningWisdom feels is better suited to judge an astrologist with a certificate, rather than verifiable years of practice and study that is self-directed, as she has not listed the issuer. It may be that she is attempting to quickly set herself above the competition, as she writes that her shop has never actually made a sale on a reading.

Here’s hoping she reads the stars a bit better than she reads a room.
