ev0ke: How do you define your particular tradition or path? Does it have a specific name?
JJ: Traditional, but diverse. Primarily Norse and Hellenic.
ev0ke: Which Deities, powers, or other spirits are honored in your tradition?
JJ: I am a Priestess of Selene, who is my patron deity. However, sometimes I will work with others depending who shows up on sacrifice nights.
ev0ke: Among the various festivals and holy days celebrated in your tradition, which is the most important to you, and why?
JJ: I sacrifice around every full moon and Samhain.
ev0ke: Which texts, websites, or other resources would you recommend to someone interested in your tradition?
JJ: I would recommend Encyclopedia of Spirits by Judika Illes. It is an accurate representation of deities and spirits and other worshipped beings without the religous ‘sales pitch.’
ev0ke: Is there anything you would like to add, such as creative projects you are undertaking, festivals or events you will be attending, and so on?
JJ: I’m actually working on a book for all things magical and supernatural, and I write content and research for a few private groups. I am also part of a Norse Heathen group, despite being a servant of a Titan deity. I personally feel that modern paganism is extremely watered down and old traditions are fading because of it. And I think that’s why magic in the world isn’t as strong or prominent as it was.
